Biobasin restoration planting

One of ten stormwater Biobasin scattered throughout residential sections of east Cambridge that we maintain. Biobasin’s captures and slowly infiltrate stormwater from surrounding roadways and sidewalks, improving water quality as it filters through native plants and engineered soils before recharging groundwater supplies. Biobasins are also designed to be pocket gardens that provide pollinator habitat in urban settings.
